Overdoses In Scotland And The United States

Back in the summer of 2019 I picked up a copy of the New York Times (NYT), and became entranced by an article about rates of opioid overdoses in Scotland.1 The article discusses rates of opioid and heroin use in Scotland, presents visualisations from the NYT original piece, and makes a brief comparison to rates in the United States (US).
